Is this best for extroverts?
Your level of extraversion will not limit you during this experience. We believe in the unique strengths of both introverts and extroverts, so we have designed the Good Chemistry experience with all personality types in mind.
How many women can I expect to connect with?
You'll interact with several, but when it comes to focused intention: The surveys from our last event showed that 100% of attendees said they left with 1-4 women they wanted to genuinely pursue friendship with after the event.
So this event will actually help me make friends?
Friendship formation is a layered process that requires a multitude of skills and is dependent on several factors like goals, personality, and friendship history. Good Chemistry is designed to help with the initial stage of connection, but we're proud to say that 100% of attendees reported that they connected with at least one other attendee after the event!
Will there by food?
This is a two-hour event that moves pretty quickly. Because of the duration and nature of the activities, there will be light bites and a bar (serving beer and wine) so that women feel energized while also fully participating in the experience! All of this is included in your ticket price!
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! The most important thing is that you feel confident and physically comfortable so that you can truly be present. There is no particular dress code for the event.
What do I need to bring?
At the risk of sounding cheesy, the only thing you need to bring a optimism, playfulness, and curiosity. We've found that these three traits are highly effective in attracting new friendships in the initial stages. There is one other (optional) item we're asking attendees to bring, but that will be shared with registered attendees privately one week before the event.

I've been studying the latest research on women's conflict and connection for more than a decade, and while I love travelling to teach, I also love bringing women together to put the research into action in real time!
Good Chemistry is for time-crunched women who are serious about connection, so they prioritize gatherings that make room for more mature and meaningful interactions.
We've hosted lighter versions of this event for the past five years, but this is the first time I'm leaning into my unique hosting style, “nerding out” on ways I can let the connection research actually drive each choice that we make about the experience.
I'm excited to kick-off this series in my hometown of Tampa, Florida, and I look forward to all the women we're about to bring together across the country.
